OnPage, the scalable, high-availability system from Onset Technology has received an upgrade to address users’ needs for time-sensitive messages to rise above the chatter, by combining secure pager-like capabilities with secure casual messaging in the improved version of the app.

OnPage is a fully encrypted, HIPAA compliant end-to-end application, with rock solid reliability. Thousands of IT, healthcare, field engineers, and emergency services professionals use OnPage to ensure their urgent messages are never missed.

It can be common for IT professionals to receive time-sensitive alerts about server crashes and comparable issues, mixed in with lower priority ticketing, diluting their ability to prioritise their workloads. OnPage is a tool which helps manage these levels of priority for time-sensitive situations and for general updates.

Similarly, healthcare professionals are often forced to use two different applications to communicate; one for alerts, and the other for casual conversations about a patient's condition. The OnPage application was originally designed as a secure replacement for the traditional pager, with advanced features on smartphones. New developments to the application have introduced an enhanced messaging experience for thousands of customers who depend on OnPage to send urgent alerts.

Launched yesterday, the new version of OnPage will add a new dimension to professional mobile communication, with new all-in-one-app features, including individualised setting, and the ability to add images and voice-recording attachments. Additionally, OnPage's new web-based on-call scheduling management tool now enables enterprise users to plan ahead and route prioritised messages to the right person, on the right day, at the right time.
