Microsoft and Sitecore Help Enterprises Improve Digital Customer Experience in Retail

Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management, announced today at the National Retail Federation’s ‘Big Show’ in New York, the availability of Sitecore Commerce 8 powered by Microsoft Dynamics.

The Sitecore Experience Platform will be integrated with the omni-channel commerce capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics for Retail, to enable enterprises to bridge the gap between in-store and digital experiences for their customers.

Sitecore and Microsoft announced last year that they would collaborate on an offering to combine the best of experience marketing and commerce. Now, that vision has come to fruition, following a 12 month development process of the product, utilising the strengths of both SiteCore and Microsoft Dynamics to create a unique solution.

Business users will be able to create seamlessly connected customer experiences optimised for visitors’ digital behaviours, devices and preferences, fully equipped with real-time order management across any channel.

This new solution adds further versatility to Sitecore’s offering to commerce and retail-based enterprises, presenting the opportunity to aggregate content across all sales channels, including mobile. Other key features include enhanced order capture capabilities both on and offline, as well as additions to loyalty programs, store location with real-time inventory, buy online, pickup in store, order management and returns.
