For the past 5 years, Jim Floyd has served as the Director of Global Mobile Services for AIG. In the midst of working on his top initiative of mobile application management, Floyd took the time to answer some questions for Enterprise Mobility Exchange's first installment of the Member Spotlight.

1. Android or iOS? iOS

2. Best technology ever invented? Fire was technically “discovered” and then controlled. My runner-up is indoor plumbing.

4.If I could be anything I would be: Omnipotent — All knowing master of the known universe (or at least a better guitar player).

5.If I could travel in time, it would be to  the year... 1347, because I would try to prevent the spread of the Black Death and accelerate the Renaissance, thus propelling technological advancement by 50 to 150 years. Imagine where we would be today with the exponential technological growth over the last 100 years?

6. Dream car? 1958 Red and White Corvette.

7. The fad or trend I hope comes back: Social civility .

8. If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be: A BLT (or fish and chips).

10.. The business/technology buzzword I am most tired of hearing is: “Friction-less.”
