IBM Expands Mobile Security Service To 4 Continents

Enhancing its cloud data centers across large swaths of the globe, IBM has expanded its mobile security-as-a-service with the deployment of IBM MaaS360 services in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.

The IBM MaaS360 enhances mobile data privacy and security with device management tools, and has been deployed across five million devices for more than 10,000 of IBM’s clients. The new deployment extends the service into France and India, with eight more countries jumping on board over the next two years, IBM announced.

The service is provided through IBM Cloud, which spans 26 countries and 47 data centers. In addition to the MaaS360, IBM is bringing with it data privacy consulting services, mobile strategy, design and deployment consultants to help enterprises looking to scale their mobile strategies globally.

Mobile Cloud Computing and Security will be the next topic of Enterprise Mobility Exchange’s October event being held in Miami, where 40 CIOs, CISOs, and security directors from across all industries will meet, including keynote speakers and private networking opportunities.
