Which enterprise technology events are you interested in attending in 2019? It is well worth the investment just to network with other IT leaders and to learn about the latest trends in the industry.

With numerous events next year, it is important to choose your tech conventions wisely. Instead of having to research all of the possible events in 2019, I’ve done the work for you. Here are my picks for the top enterprise technology events in 2019:

1. Consumer Electronics Show
January 8-11
Las Vegas, NV

Although this is a consumer expo, it still warrants inclusion on this list. Some enterprise technologies originally emerge from the consumer level, so it makes sense to keep an eye on consumer innovations. This expo in particular has more than 4,500 exhibitors and over 180,000 attendees.

February 12-15
San Francisco, CA

IBM’s flagship technology conference is back, and it will feature over 2,000 business and technical sessions led by industry disruptors and innovators. Big name speakers include NFL quarterback Joe Montana, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, and astronaut Steve Smith.

3. MWC
February 25-28
Barcelona, Spain

This is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry. It used to be known as the World Mobile Conference, but this is the first year that the acronym MWC will be used as the title of the event to reflect the focus beyond just mobility. This year’s keynote speakers include C-level leaders from Citi, Groupon, Huawei, and Vimeo.

4. New Work Summit
February 25-26
Half Moon Bay, CA

The New York Time’s New Work Summit shines a light on the roles of artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies in transforming businesses today.

5. Enterprise Connect
March 18-21
Orlando, FL

This event focuses on the new technologies changing the enterprise communication landscape. Session topics include team collaboration tools, speech technologies, and unified communication.

6. Dynamic Connections 2019
April 2-4
Denver, CO

Over 1,000 attendees will take part in Dynamic Connections 2019 to learn about new products and to connect with thought leaders. Topics include enterprise security, data protection, cloud, and mobility.

April 9-10

8. Google Cloud Next
April 9-11
San Francisco, CA

Google Cloud is moving up its annual summit from July to April in 2019. Although Google Cloud hasn’t revealed its keynote speakers yet, there is a rumor that new Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian could be one of them.

April 29-May 2
Las Vegas, NV

Dell’s largest expo of the year returns in 2019 to Las Vegas to discuss its vision of the future and new innovations in technology.

10. J On The Beach
May 15-17
Marbella, Spain

As one of the growing events in the software development space, J On The Beach puts a spotlight on topics such as distributed systems, data visualization, and functional programming. Speakers include Florence Hudson, co-founder of the IEEE-Industry Standards, Liz Keogh, lean and agile consultant, and Joe Armstrong, retired computer scientist.

11. Citrix Synergy
May 19-23
Atlanta, GA

Citrix Synergy is a 5-day event built around providing insights to help enterprises “future-proof” their IT investments. Events on the 2019 agenda include instructor-led learning labs, fireside chats, and interactive sessions.

Madrid, Spain

San Diego, CA

Looking to thrive in the world of digital business? CiscoLIVE’s global expos provide that opportunity, and this is the only one in the U.S. in 2019. There are certification courses at the event, as well as numerous live sessions that will be announced later.

August 25-30
San Francisco, CA

After several years of having VMworld in Las Vegas, VMware’s annual expo returns to San Francisco. It is one of the biggest events of the year that is geared towards digital transformation education. In the coming months, VMware will announce the agenda and speakers for the event.

The Digital Transformation Online Summit was so popular, that Enterprise Mobility Exchange is bringing back a second helping in 2019. Details will be released later in the year.

November 4-5

The leading enterprise mobility and digital transformation event is back in 2019. This exclusive, strategic, and business-oriented event features presentations and networking opportunities for leading IT professionals.
