Online Payments and Integration with Accounting Software can Enhance Field Service and Fleet Management
Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Fleetmatics Group PLC today announced the release of new features in its mobile field service management solution, Fleetmatics WORK. The enhancements will help businesses to operate more efficiently and maximise their resources.
Fleetmatics a leading global provider of mobile workforce solutions for service-based businesses delivered as software-as-a-service (SaaS), enable businesses to meet the challenges which arise from managing local fleets, and improve the productivity of their mobile workforces by extracting business intelligence from real-time vehicle and driver behavioral data.
This latest release will vastly accelerate time-to-cash for users, by embedding a payment link directly into the emailed invoice that is generated. With this new online payment powered by Stripe, Fleetmatics WORK will close the loop between job completion and payment. Jobs can now be invoiced from the field instantaneously via email, and transactions can be processed securely.
Fleetmatics WORK has added integrations with QuickBooks Online in the US and MYOB AccountRight Live in Australia and New Zealand. When jobs are completed, invoices flow seamlessly from Fleetmatics WORK to the user's accounting system, and updated client information is sent between the systems to keep all data synchronised.
Business owners now have additional tools to manage fieldworkers through mobility. As service businesses grow, it becomes even more crucial for them to have manageable views of their field. New fieldworker tags in Fleetmatics WORK will give dispatchers clear visibility to sort schedules and make assignments based on best fit.
"Our mission is to help customers achieve greater levels of productivity, service and efficiency," said Jonathan Durkee, Vice President of Product Management for Fleetmatics. "With the new online payments, seamless accounting integrations and increased fieldworker visibility, we're enabling field service businesses to drive even stronger results."
