Fast Facts: MDM Rises As BYOD Grows In The Enterprise

Enterprise mobility is penetrating SMBs and large corporations alike, be it via BYOD or COPE environments, but just as important is the device choice is how it is managed and secured. That’s the reason why one particular market is growing at an incredibly high clip and will continue to do so well into the next decade.

According to a new forecast, the Global Mobile Device Management market is expected to see a CAGR of 26.01% between 2017 and 2025. The report showed a market value of $1.71 billion in 2016 and a steady climb to $13.7 billion by 2025.

“Rapidly increasing smartphone penetration coupled with rising concerns regarding security of corporate data are the prime drivers for the global mobile device management market,” the report said. “The BYOD trend which lets employees bring their own device, can be considered as another prominent driver for the market. Furthermore, an increasing young work force population is another factor fueling the need for MDM solutions.”
