Latest Microsoft Mobile Device Delivers Business Features for Users
Microsoft has this week released the new Lumia 540 Dual SIM, a mobile device aimed at young, ambitious people looking for a highly functional smartphone.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM, which features the latest Windows Phone 8.1 innovations, will help users stay productive on-the-go with Microsoft services such as Skype and Office available out-of-the-box, and will enable better mobile experiences. The new Lumia 540 Dual SIM will also possess the capability of upgrading to Windows 10 when the service becomes available later in 2015..
The device will feature quality-crafted hardware including a removable, durable back cover with a luminous, layered design and a generous 5in HD display for utilising apps, photos, videos and the customisable home screen. Built-in Skype integration will allow users to switch seamlessly between voice and video calls, with the phone's wide-angle, front-facing camera capturing even more of the conversation.
The device will have access to thousands of mobile apps available from Windows Phone Store. Microsoft services such as Office, Outlook and up to 30GB of free cloud storage via OneDrive mean users will have the productivity tools to achieve more, anywhere, making this release a fantastic fit for enterprise and business settings.
Additionally, smart Dual SIM allows people to assign unique profiles to their SIM cards, such as ‘work’ and ‘family’, to help them better manage daily communication and providing even further suitability for use within a professional environment.
"The Lumia 540 Dual SIM is a testament to our passion for product-making, that is reflected across the entire Lumia product portfolio, and will continue with future devices," said Jo Harlow, Corporate Vice President for Phones at Microsoft. "With the Lumia 540 Dual SIM, we've made it possible to deliver a smartphone with strong design and technology credentials that is also fun to use, and incredible value for money."
