Can You Keep Up? InfoSec Expert Shares Healthcare Insights

Who better to address a captivated audience about data protection than the 2017 Cybersecurity Professional of the Year?

Matrix Medical Network’s Head of Information Security, Rebecca Wynn, will present her thoughts on the topic, “Resiliency in Data Protection: How Do You Keep Up?” at the Enterprise Mobility Exchange: Healthcare event on June 12 and 13 at the La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas. Wynn is one of a dozen speakers who will present on a wide range of topics at the invite-only, closed-door meeting that brings together c-level IT professionals from around the country.

The upcoming event will feature topics on mobility and security in settings that include pharma, hospitals, insurance, life sciences, and other verticals within the healthcare industry.

Wynn’s experience from 17 years as a security expert will lend itself to describing issues such as, how resilient is your enterprise to data hacks in mobility, and what can be done to test your data protection? Wynn will also take part in a panel discussion, titled, “What’s on Your Horizon for Mobile Technology in Healthcare in 2018?” where members will discuss the future of mHealth and how it relates to each sector of the industry.

Wynn will be joined in the speaker faculty by analysts from VDC Research and 451 Research, as well as Aetna’s Director of Global Security and Innovation; New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Director of IT Innovation; and the CMO of Innovation Health, among others.

“Mobility is not just desired, but necessary in today’s healthcare environment,” said Dorene Rettas, Head of Enterprise Mobility Exchange, U.S. “The demand from clinicians and patients to have immediate and secure access to information is being heard loud and clear, yet with HIPAA requirements and compliance laws, it’s not an easy task. We’ve created a meeting format that allows senior-level IT execs to come together to discuss their greatest challenges, address the growing demands placed upon them for mobility, and learn about solutions and support in the market.”

The event will offer times for attendees to network with their peers and meet with onsite solution providers, as well as think tank and round table discussions.

Enterprise Mobility Exchange's April event, Security West, was held in Phoenix, Arizona on April 24 and 25, featuring 20 IT executives from government agencies, financial services, manufacturing and a host of other industries. To see a recap of that event, go here.
