Leading Rugged Mobile Hardware Becomes More Resilient with Specialist Security Software
An expanded partnership has been announced today between Absolute Software Corporation, the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, and rugged mobile computing specialists Getac.
The agreement will make Absolute’s Persistence solution available on Getac’s global range of rugged mobile devices, including its rugged notebooks and rugged tablets. Built to fit specific vertical needs, Getac solutions provide customers with features and specifications designed to deliver in-the-field performance.
With this partnership in place, Getac customers will also have expanded access to superior level security and management features to remotely track and manage all deployed devices, within or outside of the corporate network.
Getac will also be able to distribute Absolute's Persistence technology on a global scale, although the initial focus will be on North America.
