Aliza Bailey is an Information Security Advisor with AARP. In her current role, Aliza executes technical programs that focus on enabling brand trust and reducing reputational risk. She provides engineering support from the proof of concept phase to the deployment phase.
Working with the Information Security Officer, Aliza is responsible for ensuring that AARP’s applications and infrastructure are designed, built, and implemented to the highest security standards to meet and exceed member expectations of security and privacy.
Additionally, she helps ensure that rapid and accurate responses, notification and escalation take place in the event of an information security threat.
Aliza has accumulated over 10 years of experience in IT. Prior to joining AARP, she spent several years working as a Network Security Engineer for large scale universities and research education networks including George Washington University and the Connecticut Education Network. Originally from Connecticut, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Political Science and Economics.
