It’s been a huge week for cloud-based mobile app integrator Appdome, announcing two major partnerships to bolster its awareness and collaboration solutions.

First, the company announced it had joined the AppConfig Community, which is “focused on providing tools and best practices around native capabilities in mobile operating systems to enable a more constant, open and simple way to configure and secure mobile apps in order to increase mobile adoption in business. Users benefit with instant mobile productivity and a seamless out-of-the box experience, and businesses benefit with secure work-ready apps with minimal setup required while leveraging existing investments in Enterprise Mobility Management, VPN, and identity solutions,” according to the community’s website.

Appdome joins a who’s who of ISVs inside the AppConfig group, including IBM MaaS360, jamf, MobileIron, VMWare/Airwatch, SOTI, BlackBerry, Cisco, Meraki, and SAP.

“This is a big win for everyone in mobile,” Appdome said in a statement. “Our platform launched in October 2016 and we went GA in February 2017. Since then, we’ve been getting great traction and have become a known vendor in mobile integration. Based on the feedback from analysts, EMM SDK vendors and ISVs, the timing was right for Appdome to join AppConfig.”

On the heels of that announcement, Appdome then released the news of its new collaboration with fellow AppConfig community member BlackBerry. Appdome is enabling codeless integration of secure voice, video and messaging capabilities with BlackBerry’s BBM Enterprise SDK.

The Ultimate Guide For Mobile App Integration

What's your enterprise doing to properly integrate mobile solutions? Here's an ultimate guide on how to go about that process.

“With BBM Enterprise SDK, app developers no longer have to focus on the nuances and complexities of securing communications; instead they can focus on building solutions for enterprises, clients, and customers,” said Appdome CEO Tom Tovar in a statement. “Like other mobile integration choices performed on Appdome, enterprise users can integrate this secure communication platform in a matter of seconds without making changes to code.”

The collaboration will result in the seamless protection of chats, voice, and video along with secure organizational data and regulatory compliance, according to Appdome.
