Pharmaceutical company Bristol Meyers Squibb wanted to create a cyber security solution to defend against emerging threats within the manufacturing landscape. To do this, it had to modernize its manufacturing facilities in terms of cyber security, while keeping in mind the specialized function of its facilities.

In its presentation at Cyber Security Digital Summit: Cyber Automation 2022, Jonathan Sinclair, associate director of information security at Bristol Meyers Squibb, describes how the company rolled out an automated cyber security program across the service and manufacturing sections of the business.

Sinclair explains the process from start to finish, including the learning gained from proof of concept for AI and hueristics, the challenges the company faced during the roll out and how they over came them and how to fine-tune the automation process to ensure maximum efficiency across all sections.
